Music To Folk To! The Parlour’s first music festival. Come down to The Parlour and folk around with your favourite local singer-songwriters, songstresses, epic folk orchestration and indie icons.

Only $5 Friday, $6 Saturday, and $10 Sunday! Want to steal the weekend away and get a fancy moustachioed wristband as a keepsake? $20 gets you in to all three days!

The Parlour features fine local brews on tap and bottled, local bloom kombucha, ethnobotanicals (Portland’s favourite legal drugs), knitted crafts to protect you from the Wintry wind of January, locally roasted coffee and all sorts of vegetarian gnosh.

Do you want to go to so many of our upcoming delightful nights of music, but fear you’ll go broke in the process, despite our dirt cheap cover fees? Do you want to come dance with DJ Rhienna and SPINNAFACE at EVERY First Saturday, but want to save money for booze? If you’re reading this post, you, yes you, you can earn free admission to shows at The Parlour! Yes! It’s true!

“But, how, my dear moustachioed venue?” says you.

It’s simple: join The Parlour’s fantastic, cartwheeling, extravagant, and frivolously productive street team!

We’re busy down here at The Parlour; giving you beer, designing flyers, printing flyers, booking bands, painting things, giving high-fives to homeless people, trimming and/or waxing our sweet stache, etc. We’re running out of time to put our flyers all over town! If you help us plaster the telephone poles Portland with our oh so sexy flyers, you’ll get in to The Parlour for free! With a friend! (Or get a free drink. What matters more: friends or alcohol?)

We’ll supply the flyers, the staples, and the staple gun (unless we run out of guns. sorry). You post the flyers around a small local area, you get free admission for the show you flyered for. It’s that simple.

If you enjoy free things, walking, helping out bands, or emptying staple guns into telephone polls, this job’s for you.
