Our dear patrons, bands, promoters, beer drinkers, all-agers, moustachers and the like: The Parlour has come to a rough rough spot.

The Parlour crew has been hanging on as tightly as we could since the very beginning, but recent unfortunate developments with the property have made it impossible for us to continue as what we are. It weighs very heavily in our minds to have to notify our patrons and acts of this drastic change, but we will be unable to keep our doors open after a short while, most likely the end of May, if not sooner.

We just might be able to save this, though!

This Thursday, come down to The Parlour to try to save southeast Portland’s all ages venue! Your Canvas and Soap Collectors will be playing deliciously awesome sets for you splendid little ears in hopes that we might stick around!

Portland needs all-ages music, and we love that we can help support that scene. Help us keep our doors open!

Singer-songstresses extraordinaire! Jazzy-folk crooning and multi-instrumented orchestration of indie sing-songs. And for a good cause!

The funds will go to benefit Monika’s House Shelter, Wash. County’s only
shelter for survivors of domestic violence on the run, and the Domestic

Violence Resource Center, who in addition to adult services provide the only
free clinical counseling to children who witness violence in the State of
Oregon. 100% of funds will benefit our free and bilingual services that
reach over 10,000 people each year.

We need donations of any amount– even $5 or $10 can go a long way in our organization! Tri-met bus tickets are always appreciated, as well.
